Plastic barrel advise

I want to buy a used plastic barrel that once had liquid soap in them..they are now clean..am I ok to store rodi water?

I would fill it with RODI water for a week and then check for phosphates before using it on your tank

Check out uline for a new one. Personally I wouldent risk a soap container on my tank.

Ahh then if that's the case, as long as you're certain the soap residue is gone, I wouldn't hesitate to is that.

I have similar 55g containers that were originally used for ice tea.

I got it..it's food grade and in great shape.. I just tossed a bottle of bleach in it with water and now I'm gonna let it air sun dry
