I borrowed a couple blue plastic 55 gallon drums from a friend last year.
One of them has been stored outside.
Yesterday I went to move it and found that the white lid had deteriorated, maybe from uv rays from the sun and is cracked/broken.

I did the usual google search and came up with zero leads on plastic lids for 55 gallon drums.

Anyone have a clue? Link?

This is a standard sized blue plastic 55 gallon drum.
The lid is white plastic and has a metal clamp to seal it.

Most areas have barrel sellers. Check Craigslist. I picked up the barrel with lid for $30. I would guess they may have a few spare lids.

I found 2 local places that sells the same barrel I have and both said no.
Only had barrel and lid combo's.

Pretty sure that I bought them on amazon... needed 2, but they offered a 3 pack for less $ than the 2. I’ll try to find the link

Update.... It was actually a 4 pac for less than 2... They are not a tight fit, but do cover the barrel. Measure the diameter (approx 23") of your barrel and match up what they offer.

This is the lid in question.
It just separated at the seam that transitions from the ring to the flat part.
As far as I know, nothing cut it. It seemed solid when I picked it up from my friend.
I used them and then moved this one out back, until my friend needed them back.
I feel responsible to return his gear back to him in the same shape I borrowed them in.

I frequently order these for my business and can say it is a PITA to get them to send just lids. Takes volume ordering usually to make it happen and even then i am usually calling in a favor. The metal drum lids are made in a separate process for the drums while the poly are made in sets.

If you find them, its usually second hand from drums that cannot be used.

Good luck with your search!
