I have done some research and am under the impression that the 3 80L Polypropylene plastic containers I have will not leach toxic chemicals into the saltwater. I would like to use these as temporary QT tanks while I qt 10 fish for introduction into my display tank.

I am going to be QTing some finiky fish such as leopard wrasse, tamarin wrasse and multibar angelfish. I cannot see through the sides of the containers but can see from the top. Do you guys reckon this would be enough to see them eating, I am a little worried that I will have to get super close to watch them eat and they will be scared off.

Where I live glass QT tanks are really expensive ($100 for 20 - 30L aquariums). I'm hoping this will be a more cost effective way to QT all these fish.

Thanks for any Suggestions?

It should be fine to see them as long as the surface ripple isn't an issue.
