Plastic type for mixing/storage salt and RO water?

Should salt water storage containers be made of:
Polyethylene
Polypropylene
or
HDLPE?

When you get right down to it, HDLPE (High Density Linear Polyethylene) does not exist. It is a convenient shorthand that some have used to refer to HDPE (High Density Polyethylene). It is used to differentiate HDPE from XLPE (Crosslink Polyethylene). HDPE is a good choice. You probably won't find an option made of LDPE. And PP will be more expensive
