Has anyone used plastidip to paint their aquarium?
I heard that it can be easily peeled off if it was put on correctly. Is this true? It's a neat feature.

Any remarks about it?

I have heard of a few people doing it and loved it. I was considering it but went with black chalk paint instead. Looks good

I've used it in past. I have a 55 I'm going to use for a new setup it has plasti dip background on it now and is peeling off good

It would be good until you use a magfloat to clean the back glass and peel it up. But then again most paints will also come off with a mag float:rolleyes:

Dopey Question: Are we talking about painting the interior of the aquarium or the exterior?

I actually used another automotive product....vinyl vehicle wrap. Comes in a plethora of colors...I went with a nice blue. Super easy to install and can peel off if I want to change things in the future..

I used black as well. Just make sure that if you tape off the tank, that the tape dose not accidentally grab onto the plasti dip when removing it. It pulls and causes it to snag and bubble. Speaking from experience.
