Plate coral ejected white cloud moments ago!

was it sperm? Will there be baby plate corals in my tank soon? (The picture doesn’t have the event, it happened out of nowhere, just took a picture for you to see what it looks like.

Looks like it's spawning. Do you have more then one? Maybe you will find babies.

No, this is my only one in the tank. Would there need 2 to make babies? Or is a like a “spits out eggs and sperm at the same time” thing?

Not 100% sure. I would think yes, but I have had other corals spawn that originated from single frag. Single polyp corals may be different.
