Ever seen one do this? It looked like this when I bought it, but I figured it would lay flat eventually. Hasn't moved. Hoping there's nothing wrong?

They haven't come out much, no. I'm starting to wonder if it is diseased.

The blue/green looked really cool against the LFS bare bottom. Looks pretty washed out against my sand.

Maybe its getting too much light?

You gotta tell the full story, background of the tank, water parameter every time you ask about corals and fish concern so that people can help you better.

Tank is about 3-4 months post cycle.
There are 20+ happy corals in this tank
From acro, to ricordea, to euphyllia.
2 clowns
Yellow tang
Coris wrasse
Emerald crab
Skunk cleaner shrimp
Yellow spot boxer shrimp (can't remember the exact name)
Pistol shrimp & goby
Parameters are all stable.
1.026sg
9.3 Alk
440-460 calc
1350 mag
0 ammonia
2 ppm nitrates
.03 phosphates (Hannah ulr)

I'm confident in the tanks overall health. Just not sure of what to expect with a plate coral. Not a lot of literature on them and most of it is pretty vague.
Have yet to see a picture of one "wrinkled" up like this one.

That was half of the reason I bought it... Lol. Might have been a bad reason?

I have one and this is what I’ve learned from caring for one: on the sand bed they are usually fine and adapt to any lighting no problem. They don’t like a whole lot of flow but like me a little more than low flow. Once adjusted you might get away with medium flow. But they’ll retract or the side receiving too much flow will go flaccid while the tentacles on the other sides still have are slightly inflated.
put it in low flow for now andgive it time. Also, the day after giving Red Sea reef energy AB+ It literally over night change from this to this:

So maybe start using some of that too and see what happens

Thanks, I will try lower flow.
Tried some Kent coral-vite and essential elements a few weeks ago. (Before I had this coral) It raised my calc and mag higher than I like and really ticked things off for a couple days.
I have heard good things about that AB+ though
