Hi. I just target feed my plate coral with Seachem Reef zooplankton. And it ended up bleached. Other corals are fine. What's wrong?

What type of lighting are you using? If it's under LEDS could be getting scortched. A little more info on the setup and parameters would be helpful. Any alk or parameter swings lately?

On the deeding side of things, if you have some mysis feed it that, give it something a little more substantial, they'll devour mysis like crazy. In my experience plates are pretty resilient and hardy, especially when you're constantly feeding them.

I'm using Orbit Marine LED (not the pro version). The coral has been at that spot for quite some time and it never had any problems before this. Ca 400-420, alk 9-10, Mg 1150-1260. There was an incident that I had lost a wrasse and a Clam when I was away for holiday. And the NO3 went up to 20 when I came back.
I'll try to feed frozen mysis, thanks!

Mine has looked like that when a peppermint shrimp was picking at it...
