So I got this coral from pet kingdom San Diego it already looks better. But I have heard LTP do not live long in captivity. Let's hear your experiences.

And if you get to Sd make sure you visit sdcorals a lot bigger selection and really good prices. About 12 min from PK.

I tries saturday but the traffic sucked and we missed them by 2 minutes. They were closed sunday. On the plate coral I just read they don't last long.
 
Heliofungia actiniformis have a reputation for poor long term success. Probably the reason you do not see a lot of them in tanks or mentioned on forums. I had a few back in the 90's and they typically thrived for 3-5 months then failed to expand and slowly died. I hear they do better with direct feedings.
