I have a flame angel and my tank and currently have my frags in a fry box just to be safe, however , I picked up a plate coral that is too big to fit in with the frags, will my flame angel bother it? I also have a flame hawk and emerald crab.

It’s really a hit or miss with flame angels. I had 2 model citizens, but many have experienced to be not reef safe.

Oh, not at first but long term imo.... 3-4 months in mine took a turn for the worse....of course this could have been my parameters not linking up, ....all my others are still here from amongst that group....my Coral beauty has fared very well as a single.I have been told they don’t handle copper treatment well. Perhaps this is where you got the idea they are hard to acclimate. They are also very difficult to pair without one killing the other. Coral beauties are more aggressive and will kill them as well.
