platinums or wyoming white

this mite seem dumb but what the difference between the platinums an wyomings is it just the breeders looking to get a pair in the next two weeks but would like to know before i pic between them

i believe one is occelaris and one is percula..
but i don't remember which was which

The Wyoming whites are ocellaris, and the platinum/blizzard clowns are percula.

I'm partial to the cleaner brighter white of the WW, and the face of an ocellaris always looked nicer to me than the perculas.

ok thanks guys i like the wyoming whites better but the fish guy at my lfs can get some platinums one sale for really cheap any i cant find any wyoming whites

If you ever get to the Raleigh area Grace at the Reef Farm can get some for what I felt was a great price. They are actually having a big sale next weekend and she is taking orders for clowns. I got some from her two weeks ago they are amazing!

Wyoming White Clownfish

Very easy to tell the difference between Platinum(true perc) and WW(ocellairs)
True Perc has 10 Dorsal Spines and their eyes are iris clear orange
Ocellairs has 11 Dorsal Spines and their eyes are pigmented iris(blackish eyes)

Yeah big sale this weekend. There will be a frag swap too with quite a few hobbiest to go along with everything they already have. If you were to ever go this would be a great weekend to do it. I would call though to make sure they have the Wyomings before you make the trip. I know they were taking special orders for fish for the sale maybe you can call or email to see if it is still an option.
