I just got this from a LFS being sold as platygyra. It looks a lot like an platygyra acuta. Anyone have and experience with p. Acuta?

Paragoniastrea australensis. True platygyra don’t have paliform lobes. It is impossible to identify most merulinids to the species level due to genetic data not matching up with morphological characteristics/biogeographical species boundaries and type data (usually drawings) being ambiguous.
