Platygyra Placement in the Aquarium

Hellow Reef2Reef Reefers, here's my Platygyra frag. I have posted a thread asking about how fast they grow and now I'm curious to the best placement in the aquarium. It currently rests on the sand bed below 4 suspended t5 HO Bulbs in my 40 gallon breeder. Does the Platygyra like to be closer to the lights or not? Mine seems to be doing good so far but if it benefits from being higher in the tank I'd love to know.

I have mine at the 1/3 mark up and off to the side in an almost shaded spot under dual kessil 160s and quad ati t5s. Not an exceptionally quick grower, but seems to be doing well non the less.

90gal 24" deep tank btw.

I would keep it lower and out of direct flow. Feed it well and it should start growing well. They do extend sweepers at night so keep it a safe distance away from other corals unless you want them fried

Thanks!! . The green ones are actually green button polyps (a palythoa). I believe. Can't see a few types I have there as I just dosed with h202 to fight off some nasties starting to show. Super stoked tho. Adding some Bob Marley and wwc Funny D Wednesday. My babies are my orange mandarin zoas. Started with 2 polyps, at about 100 or more now.
