Wondering what your experience is wi TV Platys. They seem to be pretty slow growing for me but definitely are getting more colorful as they grow

It will of course vary from tank to tank depending on lighting, paratmeters, nutrients, type/frequency of feeding etc.

Just to give you one example though, I have two platys in my 24g that have gone from quarter-sized frags to golf balls sized in 2.5 years. They are on the sand bed and, other than an occasional stay food pellet or bit of LRS, only get once-or-twice broadcast feeding with the rest of the tank.
