playful Dory

hi,seems somewhat aggresive behavior ,not to be mean, these fish need a larger tank for sure :)

Do you mean the behavior with picking up what appeared to be part of a shell and dropping it and picking it up again? Hard to say if that's really playful behavior. It could be feeding behavior or just boredom.

That’s normal behavior for them to pickup small things and move them. I had to hunt for a few frags I placed too close to my regals favorite hiding spots and then realized I had to fasten them down once I caught my fish moving them. Mine seems to like to keep it’s hiding spots unblocked and free of debris for quick access.

My watchman goby does this to their hole.

holy****. that tank is too small. Thats aggression probably brought on by stress. It's outgrown the tank
thank you, looking for a bigger tank, we have only1 tank supplier in town and ordered a bigger tank, this one is 60L and i do weekly water changes, we live next to the sea so saltwater is easy to get...hopefully tank supplier can deliver within the week

Just try to make sure they have as much open swimming room as possible. And plenty of nori or algae to graze
