Looking good Paul. I've been meaning to order up some new ones so this finally spurred me along.
I just hit Amazon and ordered two different sample packs to mess with.

Here's another FTS knocking the exposure down....and this also looks to be focuses better.

EDIT TO ADD: Wait one minute....this looked a lot sharper on my computer before copying it onto this site....now not looking crisp. Wonder if the site knocks the pixels (or something) down???

Thanks John, I actually blame Kevin for pushing me to go back and play with the gels I've had for some time. He's worse than my wife, getting me to do things!

It's been fun and eye-opening though.

Yeah, if you have the ability to adjust white balance, there is no need for gels. These gels are for cell phone folks who don't have white balance capability. Simply hold the gel in front of the lens and take the picture.

My pics are with an iPhone, in camera app called pro camera let's you change WB and a lot of other settings.

What android phone are you using?

If you can't change your white balance in the stock photo app, try downloading "camera fv-5 light" . Free app lots of features, including white balance. You can also download Snapseed or Afterfocus to edit the pics as well, both are free.

I've been thinking about order some gels to play with as well, they have been in my cart on amazon forever. But the apps may help you get some better pics than your stock Camera, if you want to catch something on the fly.

I have used a lg optimus, htc one, and samsung s5. The s5 has been my favorite, so far, using the stock camera.

Just an example, taken with my s5, stock app, under led.
