Hey guys,

I have been wanting a macro lens for a while but they are pretty pricey. My wife's friend came over a few weeks ago and brought her camera and some extension tubes. After playing with them for a while I had to order some. They do a pretty decent job for the price. Here are just a few pictures I have taken with them.

Some nice zoas. I won one polyp at the frag swap last year and it stayed closed for a couple of months. Finally taking off.

A cool encrusting montipora of some type. Not sure of the name but the polyps look like blue lines to the naked eye. Didn't realize until I took pictures of it that the polyps are actually half the purple base color and half bright blue. For some reason the blue part kept coming out white.

I'm still learning but I think they are turning out pretty well.

Thanks Rob! I've tried all kinds of ways to take pictures of corals and was never happy with them until now.

They are well worth it. All of these were taken without a tripod as well.
