Thanks in advance for the help.

I have this guy (?) for about a year and I want a mate for it.

I have tried following instructions on the sexing, but I don't seem to get it.

Here are side and bottom shots for consideration

Here are the pictures:

For sexting, I think you are suppose to post a picture of the junk?

:) Bumping for answers?

(Also, if you have a resource for keying this, posting that here, or a link might help.)

If the junk isn't in one of those pictures, I don't know where it is

Could explain a lot of things!

Sexing Harlequin Shrimp

1. In Harlequin shrimp, females are generally larger than males.
2. Females also exhibit larger colored blotches in the ventral region of their abdominal segments (they have blue/purple spots under the tail). Adult males lack the blue tips of the pleopods**, present in adult females, and have the second color patch on the side of the abdomen only weakly developed.
3. Harlequin males develop an appendix masculina and an appendix interna, while females develop only an appendix interna.

** Yours would be a dude based upon the pleopod tips being not blue.

I immediately thought his name was Bruce, but I didn't want to presume pronouns. :)

Thank you for your help!

I did ask him how he identified, sexually, but he wasn't much help.

He is not named yet (waiting on my grandson), but we will go with he for now :)
