Tiny vermetid snails? I've kicked around kaka in the tank to see if they're produce the fishing lines they're known for but nadda. Appears more feather duster like. Also, what is the deal with all the white stringiness going on here? Appears rigid/calcified but I haven't given it the poke test yet.

This is all growing inside a botryocladia algae; the green I believe to be a type of enteromorpha / hollow nori, but not sure. Wait and see approach there.

Any feedback appreciated! Please let me know if any more info/pics req. :)

at the base, the white growths are definitely sponges. Im not sure the type but my bam bams had the same growth and they were suffocating out the polyps. Probably fine unless this is a super showpiece.

Thanks yall! No showpieces here - just macro algae tank that will house undecided critter(s). This tank is about a month and a half old - wrapping up the diatom / slime stage..!
