So I'm pretty positive this is a type of eunice worm. I just need a confirmation as I've never seen one in person. Can anyone tell what species? It's about 1/8" thick, and I saw probably 5" of it without seeing its backside. There's 2 little white horns (antennae?) behind its head if that helps.

You won't be able to ID the species as some even take a microscope to confirm. Beautiful pictures.
Boo. Thanks for the compliment on my pics! Don't tell anyone, but they're from my phone.

So any guesses to the obtainable size? And could it be capable of doing this to my frogspawn in one night?

Hmmmmmm..... I'm going to be honest, I don't know. My gut tells me it didn't do that, but it would be irresponsible for me to not tell you it's just an unsubstantiated hunch.

I didn't think so. It's happened a couple times and recovered. It's been relocated to the other side of the tank for now.

I'll look into trapping it, but I'm not going to tear the tank apart without knowing that it's harmful.

Thanks again!
