Does anyone want to help a fellow reefer out and donate a phosphate and gfo reactor. I lost mostly everything on Oct 27th and have been rebuilding but I'm cash spent... period. And I can't run a spa tank properly without these reactors thanks guys and hope all is well

DFS usually have phosban 150s on sale for <$30 once in a while. Been using that in my mixed reef along with po4x4 and it hasn't failed me yet

It is quite possible to keep a thriving Sps tank without running Gfo. Do you know what caused the crash? Not necessarily trying to dissuade you from getting one but you can keep Sps happy without gfo I promise you

I'm pretty sure his tank crash was due to hurricane sandy.

I've got a brs deluxe reactor no pump you can have. You cover shipping and its yours. Pm me if interested

Sorry to hijack thread but what is DFS? I have never heard of them before?

Sure. I did not conect the dots on that one. So then it's safe to say the OP was running w/out gfo prior to the crash?

looks like pgr1 has him covered anyway:)

Not too sure on specifics of his system, just saw oct 27 and that he was from NJ. I agree that you can have a successful SPS tank without gfo.

Sorry for not responding quickly , we got wiped out from hurricane sandy 16 days without electric and flooding hit us hard. The electric surge wiped out pumps light and all equipment except a power head and a fluval filter . I'm running a 90 gal with 30g sump . I've bought a auto top off new aquac skimmer new t5 halide light (for now unfortunately ) couple cheap pumps and power heads.the rodi I have keeps having phosphates so I need the 2 reactors. I'm saving up for a mp40 and led light. I lost alot it was a rough 3 weeks
