Please help...2 different types of growth on rock

I'm new to the hobby. I have two different type of growth on live rock. One is a light purple and the other a deep red. Is any of this a problem in my tank?

I prefer the look of the light purple coralline, but my tank mostly grows the dark red stuff like you have.

The red is very light dependant
It does add some good color contrast
