PLEASE HELP! Acan coral is all shrunken up

Please help my red Acan coral has been shrunken up for 4 days now and I don’t know why.

First thing to do is pull it off the sand . There is a possibility that it is being irritated by sand as I don’t keep mine on sand bed for that reason. Moderate light and water flow, temp 77-79, salinity 1.025, ph 8.1-8.3 and alk 8-11.
Nitrate < .6

It appears to have white curly dots on all the heads now, is that a worry?

My acan was struggling ever since my tank got up to 82 without air conditioning. Does temperature really play that big of a role?

It can. As in case of Great Barrier Reef- excessive temperatures accounted for most of the bleaching of coral

Update on the temperature, it has been stable and corals are looking better. Must've been the temp.
