Update on my Red Sea Max E260.
I've had diatoms for over a month on rocks and crushed coral, they are cake like heavier on the middle rock between the returns, so I added a small power head to send flow to the middle rock.
I added 2 frags of Zoas and 1 frag of GSP 2 weeks ago, all doing fine until diatoms lightly started to get on them.
Then I started to get this algae on the back glass of tank, looks like short small white hairs.
It has spread all over my rocks some short fuzz like and some longer on edges of rock flowing with water movement. It looks to be a dirty white to brown color on the rock work.
I've used airline tubing to try and suction it and a toothbrush to brush it off. It helps some but then it comes right back.
2 clown fish and 1 royal gramma plus small blue legged hermits and snails in tank.
Snails keep dying off. I do a 10% water change 1x a week.
Water parameters 3 days after last water change are:
API Test Kit - Ph- 8.0, Ammonia- .50, Nitrite- o, Nitrate-0,
Seachem test kit, Phosphate-0.05
Red Sea Foundation Pro Test Kit, Calcium-370, Alkalinity-9.5, Magnesium-1300
Sorry about pic quality, if you enlarge you my be able to see algae on rocks and edges of rock.
Any help with this problem would be Greatly Appreciated!!

I really see pretty much nothing. If its the light fuzz its normal. You may want to up the snail population, and get out the toothbrush.

Yes it's hard to see in these pics.
If you tap on the second pic and widen it you'll see the small white hairs on the back glass, then scroll down just below the round disc at the end of that rock sticking out it looks like a white ring.
Do my numbers for tests look ok to you.
Thanks for all your help saltyfilmfolks

Tank update, please advise,
I'm still battling algae in my tank for 5 months now?
The algae on the rocks is much thicker now, looks like a light grey to white color, some has small clear bubbles in it.
Algae on the substrate and glass looks like brown spider webs also has some bubbles.
Algae grows on power head slots brownish red color, long soft looking flowing in water.
I added a Koralia 600 power head attached to back wall facing towards center front wall.
Also do 10% water change weekly.
When I scrub the rock with a toothbrush a lot of white particals flow out all over the tank.
I've purchased 3 more fish so I have 6 total, 2 clown fish, 1 royal gramma, 2 fire fish and one pj cardinal.
Also a few frags of paly's and zoa's.
The only thing I have in media basket is 2 bags 11.74 oz. each of reef spec activated carbon.
My lighting is 2 hydra 26 hd led's, schedule is,
UV40%, Violet 55%, Royal 105%, Blue 100%, CW 15%
4 hour's ramp time, 4 hour's peak.
Salinity - 1.025
Calcium - 375
Alkalinity - 8.1
Magnesium - 1280
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 0
Phosphate - 0
Any help getting rid of all this algae would be greatly appreciated!

Algae on the substrate and glass looks like brown spider webs also has some bubbles.

This sounds a lot like dino. However, your are throwing me off with "like a light grey to white color," Do you have any algae that looks like Fern? Look up Bryopsis ...... see if that matches your algae. If it's bryopsis, you could look up the Bryopsis thread on here for bryopsis cure using Fluconazole.

As for "spider web with bubble" - That sounds like dino. If this is dino (can't tell from your picture), that will take some dedication and work to eradicate them

I'm sorry I forgot to add pictures.
I don't think it's bryopsis, the fuzz that's on my rock work isn't green.
It's more like no color underneath and brown web like over the top.
Not all rock is covered, mostly rock that's exposed to light.
I don't know how to get rid of this stuff.
Your help is greatly appreciated!
