My 2 pyramid butterflies was taken out copper power qt and put into 2nd normal salt qt tank yesterday and noticed the back fin was very frayed and chunks missing and looked like side fins was cut and looked white. I did notice few days ago in copper that some of edges of find was like turning blackish. But did not really think much of this! Got up this morning and looks like back fin is shorter still! Is this finrot or can flukes do this? Iv added 1st dose of prazi pro yesterday,. Few

Beautiful fish!

Your fish's tail doesn't look too bad. Could consider dosing the QT with Ruby Reef Rally. It has both the affects of a mild antibiotic and antiseptic. Very mild treatment that allows your fish's immune system to do its own work. But fin rot can get out of hand. Do you have a wide spectrum antibiotic if needed? Kanaplex, Furan2, Sulfaplex are all very good.

Consider feeding the fish some vitamins with the food to boost the immune system: Zoecon, Selcon, Beta Glucan, etc. can help.

Iv got kanaplex and furan2. Could I dose these together or would you try only 1 first? I was going to buy some melifix. But shop had none! Would you also dose with the prazi pro iv added already or do water change after few days of prazi to let that work and then add the kanaplex or furan2.

Prazipro is for flukes and some internal parasites. Won't help with fin and tail rot (bacterial infection). Prazi does most of it's work in 24 hours. Could do a water change and run a bit of carbon to remove.
Kanaplex is very mild yet effective. But if you think your fish needs more meds, then adding the Furan2 would be fine. Use as directed on the boxes. Furan2 will tint the water a bit of green/yellow.
