I just had about 18 different color sent to me and put them in my frag tank. For the most part they all opened just fine, but on the second day i noticed a few of them had little white clouds in between them. 3rd day i noticed it spread a bit and the zoas it is growing around closed up. 4th, 5th day some of the polyps in the cloud turned to mush. I and panicing and i need help. i tried blowing it off with a power head and it seems to help but it is still there and growing back, and apearing on other rocks. Do i dip in iodine? i have also heard peroxide? if so, whats the ratio?
Thanks guys =(

A photo would help to see exactly what you are dealing with. This way some of us can offer some help.

+1 on pic, also need your water perimeter. There can be alot of reasons, what kind of light do you have? Did you acclimate? Where did you place the corals in the tank. The more info you provide, the easier we can resolve the issue

i cant upload a pic right now. i found the post "polyps melting" and it looks just like that. i am going try pouring peroxide over them and then rinsing like it says there. I cant really cut alot of the affected off, these are small frags.

The i have not tested everything as far as the water goes, it is 55 gal 16" deep frag tank i made from acrylic. It has one 250watt 14k MH, 2 t5 35 watt atinic. Ramora skimmer, sump with micron sock, weekly dosing, cal iodine etc. When i noticed the problem i hooked up one of my small uv sterilizers that i keep around for emergencies. All other corals including zoas, paly, look fine. They are across the tank on a diff shelf than the new ones. Could this spred to them?

Pretty sure after looking at pics that its a fungus. No distinct white dots, so not pox.
