can someone please help id this disese. I am well versed in fish treatment and have any and all medication. I just dont want to treat for something if im not 100% certain.

certainly began with ich, the question i have is why his scales are coming off, Brook?

+1 it could be multiple things going on. How long have you had the fish, how long has it had symptoms? did you add anything new to your aquarium? etc. Give us a little more info please
