Firefish are known jumpers, so highly recommended to have a lid on your tank.

I’ve had this fish for close to 2 years. He’s tiny. Always was afraid that he was going to get gulped by other bigger fishes but he’s a tough cookie. Probably my favorite fish in aquarium. I did not bother to ID him till now, since he’s been pretty chill in tank I’ve never had lid on tank and he’s still around. Doesn’t seem to be a jumper. He’s small enough to go in to overflow but he’s too smart for that! I bought my system used from a gal and she had all high end fish and corals. He came along with system.
