Please Help ID Sump Being Taken Over

Hello,

I just noticed an explosion of these critters in my sump. Anyone have an idea of what they are and how I can remove them? I hope it’s not too late.

Pineapple sponges, harmless filter feeders, usually will decline in #'s with age of tank

Just watch and clean at pump intakes, still usually not a problem

Second what fishguy said! Not a bad thing, just watch your pumps.
