Please help Id these very tiny white worms on the glass

I started seeing a lot of very tiny specks on the glass a few days ago and now they are all over the glass. The most density is where the return flow hits the front glass.

They dont seem to be pods of any kind.

Do they move like worms, or do they sort of scurry around? They could be copepods (though they do look a little elongated and could be worms). How old is your tank? Have you added anything or has anything changed recently?

They move very slowly like worms.
Its been over 5 months. Fish started going in about 3 months ago. Not sure if relevant but started getting diatoms and algae over the rocks a few weeks ago.
