The polyps in the very center are a mottled pink, with a mottled pink skirt. They were small and bright on the plug, but larger on my rock, and not as bright. They are slow growers and not invasive at all. Please help.

Here's a couple more pics, showing the smaller brighter polyps, and, a close up showing the barring a cross the diameter. Really hoping to ID these if anyone can help.

Again, sorry for the lighting. Hopefully they're identifiable.

Forty-two views and no guesses? Bump bump bump.

there is a zoa ID thread in one of the Forums on this site. Also try googling them , Identification of zoanathids. Plus there are quite a few internet stores who sell these guys.

...there is a zoa ID thread in one of the Forums on this site...
This is the zoa ID thread, I think.

Kind of like a Pink Zipper, but there's no discernible ring(s).

Bump

Under my blues the pink is distinct, and there is a dark ring around the outer edge. Each tentacles on the skirt has a distinct pink spot.

No dude. Someone one this site has an thread that ID's Zoa' (Use Forum) and palys. Do a search on this site and google LFS's that sell these guys. (they have pics) ok???????????????

The title of this thread is "Zoanthid ID Forum (if you need an ID post it here)". Moreover, as far as I know, zoa ID requests are prohibitied elsewhere in the Zoa Discussion forum, with the exception of this thread.

I'll just keep going through the 16 pages of posts in the Zoanthid Identification Database though, and Google. Thanks.

Hey CastAway: I knew you could do it. It took me several hours to ID mine. That's why I suggested where to go to find out what you have.
Plus my eyesight isn't what it use to be. By now you have found out there is more than one name for the same zoanithid or Paly.

Congrats

Okay, my best guess is.....

Pink Zippers.

Best pic of these unidentified plays yet. (Taken under my new LED's!) Still doesn't depict the pink as it appears to the eye.
