I've had this in my tank for about 4-5 months. It looked horrible when I initially put it in. It had gone brown and would not phosphorus. It's started to lighten in color and the tips are getting a purple hue. It's encrusted like mad onto it's plug and surrounding rock.

I'm trying to get all the names for my corals in my system. There are only just a few that have me stumped.

You should just name it anything you want. The crazier the name the more you can charge for frags. How about Aphrodite? Or Hiphopanonymous?

Mentioned above, you may have skimmed over the post, but looks like Acropora Loripes. Look it up on google, hit images tab, and compare. Either way, its a pretty piece

A picture from the top or the other side would help. It’s hard to I’d when the pic is kinda taken on the backside of the coral. I will give an id a shot if you get a better pic. Looks similar to a loripes but not enough there to say for sure.

Hard to say when the coral is small. Could be an Acropora efflorescens. They look a bit like that when they’re small. But it could also be something like A. secale or A. loripes.

Don't know the name, but it's beautiful!
