Urg! Ok I read all how to kill them but have another idea. Do you think I can smother them?. Meaning taking some coral putty and covering the whole area the on or 2 are on? I removed the rock they came on but 2 are on my base rock

That might work. Luckily never had to deal with them but aptasia was no fun. Maybe try removing the rock from the tank before smothering them.

Just had to kill off some myself. Some say they are fine. I woke up one morning and my big one had split into 5-6 smallers.

Got some pickling Lyme and a syringe. Had about 12 total. Had to shoot up 4 that didn’t die. Won’t be letting these live anymore.

Brs or marine just released a probe thing that converts saltwater into hydrogen and dissolves them on contact. You just touch them and hit the button and they melt.
