Is it good or bad? I know it is some kind of worm I have never seen it out of the tub.

Vermetid worm. The slime produced can irritate coral. You can plug up the hole with reef glue.

yup. vermatid snail,. not super bad thing, but they are ugly, spread fast, and protrude mucous thread to catch food. Get rid of them, easy to deal with when they are only a few. You have to nuke the base, if you just destroy the tube, they'll grow back
They dont actively damage or harm anything (i,.e. not a pest, just nuisance )

Yeah that should do. But check carefully, there should be many more, they are rarely one off case
