I found these while cleaning my frag tank. I'm not really having any problems, but I found these in three places around the tank. It must be something small as I also found them wedged between overflow box and glass. That's less than an 1/8th inch wide, thickness of bulkhead rubber gasket. Sort of bowl shaped with a single attachment point on short stalk. Thanks for any help.

They appear to be snail eggs. What snails do you have in the tank?

Trochus & Astria snails, I think. There are a couple of snails I don't know the name of that have a longer, sleeker shell and have a "trunk". I doubt they are snail eggs as I found some behind the overflow box, between the box & the glass of the tank. Pretty hard for a snail to get there as eggs were a couple of inches from the edge. The gap is only the thickness of a bulkhead gasket.

I have never seen stomatella in my tanks, lots of places to hide, so it is possible.

Stoms and astrea broadcast spawn....maybe the trochus...
