+1 to this. Aiptasia typically has long tentacles around the top/mouth and this doesn't seem to have any tentacles period.Looks like a sad zoa or shroom to me.

Yeah…just…be careful. some soft coral freebies can quickly grow to plague proportions…you may want to isolate it and see what grows. should be easy to snip a tiny bit of the candy cane skeleton off and glue it to a frag plug.It’s definitely a hitchhiker.
