Hello,

I apologize for not having a picture but this crab is super elusive. The tank is a 3-year-old tank, 10 gallon, saltwater.

About the crab: I'm sure it was a live rock hitchhiker. Found it when it was microscopic! It is the only crab of its kind in the tank. Peach in color, TINY, flat body, flat head, eyes wide apart, very hairy all over. It does not appear to be a strawberry crab. Very slow growing. In 3 years, it has grown from microscopic to about the size of a quarter (legs & all). Very elusive, lives inside the rock, only sticks his pinchers out to grab food and go back in. Has NEVER left the rock until just the other day to go hide in another rock, but now he is back home in the first rock.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

I will try my best to get a picture of the little guy. I know identifying him is really tough without a picture.
