Hi there,

I recently noticed a tentacle/ worm like creature on my Miami Hurricane (noticed during the day while actnic lights were on, when i turned on the main light, it stayed for al ittle while just mopping around the chalice not extending too far about 4mm max during the light). It seems like it's coming out of the skin/skeletal structure next to the eye, but i'm not sure, I will take another pic of it soon.

Here is a photo, any insight would be appreciated. It could be one of teh tentacles that come out at night (nutz, like 10-14 tentacles start swinging and snatching creatures from my water).

Thank you.

Ah, there may be a misunderstanding, when I mentioned skeleton, I meant of the chalice and not the creature. There are no visible tubes on the chalice., but i am not xing out that it's not a vermidt snail, can they live out the shell of the tube?

I'll look deeper.

Thanks,

Update: They are feeder tentacles... thought it was weird out during the light, figured because i dropped a couple drips of oyster feast for my scallop and it must have smelled it. Hung around for a bit ahha.

Thanks all for your insight. I see the sweepers at night, also, I recently just rearranged some of my chalices and i guess it didn't like it's new neighbors =/ those sweepers get long -__-
