Thank you. I pretty much got rid of most of it when I broken down the tank to move. Any ideas on what to do with all those d*** starfish?I am also inclined to think sponge, just a strange formation that would not be viable had the rock not been moved.
Thank you Diesel. What wrasse would you recommend that is good for a reef? I have never owned a wrasse before and know little about them.Sponges, they can grow in big clusters behind rock.
Get a Angelfish of some kind and he/she will clean it up for you.
The legs you see are small brittle stars, wrasses will feast on these.

This guy here in Reno had all them plus a giant pajama Cardinal 3-4" all in a 120 gallon 4x2x2 tank. The guy paid someone $200 a month to take care of it and anything and everything that you could think of doing wrong was done. I am thankful I was able to get everything for $400 plus give them a bigger home. Soon to be even bigger. I'm going to be ditching the 150 gallon tank for a 250-300 gallon one to give them even more room.Btw, that's a super nice Copperband you got.
I'm sure this size it will eat well for you?
+1It's just a sponge of some sort. (Carteriospongia vermifera?) I have a bunch of these in my tank as well. The ones behind the rockwork that aren't getting any light tend to be white.
No worries.
Quickly question will wrasses eat asterinas I have a puffer fish do not able to have harlequin shrimp[emoji52]
