Please help identify

Please help identify. The picture is the best I managed. My reef tank is 10 months old and recently, all over the rock small tube like (for lack of a better word) things have started growing. They are generally black with a red/orange tip and about 1 cm long. I have scoured the internet and did not find anything.

My guess would be either Vermetids or perhaps Foraminiferans, Hydroids would also be a possible ID.

Thanks Tahoe61. It seems they are Vermetids. Doing some research it seems hey are harmless and can even be a good sign so I can keep them and need not worry. All the best!
