Please help noticed this critter attached to my yellow tang Sunny this morning. It has not been there what is it how do I get rid of it

That is not a fluke. Looks like a Parasitic Isopods. I think you have to catch the fish and remove it manually. But problem is they are in your tank now. Not sure how to get rid of them.

From my knowledge remove that isopod asap. A wrasse should be able to eat baby isopods that pop up keeping them from growing up. If you see any more remove them.

Correct. And getting rid of them can be a challange. You have to pull the fish and remove them manually.

I see them occasionally on wild fish. This poor butterfly had one on each gill plate.

Darn it went to pick up a second net since I figured my yellow tang Sunny would go right to its two way open cave and when I got back the isopod is no longer attached. So now this monster creature that is the size of a small roach which I believe hitched a ride on the extra Chaeto I picked up yesterday is somewhere hiding in my tank

Picked up a six line wrasse in the event it decided to have babies in my tank which of course it probably will

Are you sure it hasn't crawled into the gills or mouth? I've seen pics of them in both areas.
