Please help identify

Any ideas what this could be? I'm pretty sure it came off of a piece of live rock as I had a piece up close to this filter housing

Kinda hard to see in pic but looks like Aiptasia or part of one.

Hard to get a picture of but thats what I was thinking. Kinda wish I went all dry rock now

If only a few you can remove by hand or boil up tank water and blast with turkey baster or inject with a kalk slurry.

Are they OK to touch by hand il just reach in and grab it out if it is otherwise im seriously lacking in tools as its a really new tank and I'm still picking bits up. I could do the boiling water thing though

They won’t hurt you if that’s the concern- I would try to scrape them off with something while siphoning so they are removed. Be sure to not crush them though; I believe small pieces can regenerate into another polyp.

If there’s just one, you can certainly try to pinch it and remove by hand, if you can get enough of a grip!
