I bought this coral from my LFS and she said the story behind this coral is that her supplier 10 years ago received a frag that he did not order and could not identify it, so he named it "Field of Dreams" this coral will encrust anything it is near and has even covered a coffee mug. I am looking for the actual name for this piece. Thank You

Eh, I'm thinking Lithophyllon or Psammocora; need a closer focused picture. Maybe lepto, but I'm not convinced.

Ok, I took some new pictures and it is more in focus now but I cannot get the colors to match from the pic to the real thing, its close but far off. One has the flash and the other does not. The one with the flash shows more of the green dots it has in the ridges, but just imagine the green a more neon green. Thank You again for the help

No worries; color isn't a good way to ID corals anyway...

But with that, you have a Pavona coral.

I do thank you for the help with this. I actually went to a different LFS today to pick up some sand and I seen the exact same frag in his tank, so I asked him what it was and said a jedi mind trick montipora. After coming home and looking up the montipora, it looks nothing like the frag I have, I think my LFS has been miss informed. Everything I look at online about a Pavona it matches perfectly. Again I thank You for all the help in identifying this coral.
