Hi
Could someone help me to identify what happen to my blue green chromish ?
The pectoral fin seem be swollen on one side and the other fin has an orange spot on it. It got picked on by other fish from the LFS, so we rescued it but just recent notice this. Is he sick ?

It does look like it has an injury/infection. Sometimes fish recover on their own, others need treatment.
Is the fish eating?

Unlikely to spread to other fish. One thing - in every picture, the chromis seems to be hovering near the bottom or the side of the tank - does it not go out into open water to swim? That isn't normal behavior for this species....

We only got it for only one week. He always hiding and at the bottom, he will swim up when i’ m feeding. Is it normal for new fish or what are you suggest me to do ?

What other fish are in with it? This species is a schooling fish, and a single one may feel uncomfortable. That is is feeding is a good sign though.

Yes thank you.
Should I do any treatment ?
the clownfish is 1/3 of the chromish size.
I do not see a clear course of treatment at this time. I would just advise you to watch for lack of appetite, rapid breathing, or some other change.

Do you have a small treatment tank available?

Unfortunately I don’t.
My LFS does quarantine service so that would be something that I can do.

This may be something the fish can recover from on its own. Otherwise, you would need to move it to a treatment tank and dose with antibiotics.
