Please help LR is white

Set my 65gal tank up this weekend and all my LR is white as snow now did i do something wrong took water sample to local LFS in hoover al they said salinity was 1024 and no ammonia no nitrates no nitrites did i do something wrong please help

Can you post a pic? That would help to determine if there is some kind of bacterial growth or something

Are you sure this isn't base rock? It was colorful when you put it in? I would wait until your cycle is finished, and then add some colorful live rock to seed the rest of your rock.

That definitely looks like base rock.

It's a rock that isn't "live". People get it to save money when setting up an aquarium... Base rock is ~$2/lb vs live rock, which is $8+/lb... What you can do is seed the base rock with a little piece of live rock, and eventually all of the base rock will become live rock.
