Black ich? Hyper melanization? Bacterial infection? She has had the black dots for several weeks, so it’s not a fast progressing parasite/disease.
She’s my only fish. I bought her - and her tank - several months ago from an old man who had neglected it for a long time.
All water params are now ok.
I didn’t want to buy any new fish until the water quality was pristine. But I have added a clean up crew (maybe 7-8 weeks ago) - if they could have carried on some disease that Chromis has now caught? No flashing but she’s twitching and can suddenly start to swim fast as if something is biting/irritating her.
