Yeah thats my opinion also.. first sign.was my gramma was breathing very heavy, hiding and noy eating.. so i did 2 weeks of prazipro then stopped when all seamed better.. but now i noticed this on the clownfishes side..
I'm thinking it looks more like flukes, but a fw dip would confirm.
First thank you humblefish, i have read lots of your post while stuyding on fish diseases.. so are you under the impression that i didnt dose long enough to kill the nematode that hatch? Also i seen the video you post on you tube about fw dips while looking for answeres on what i should do.. so im wondering when you get fish at the pet store with flukes what are the symptoms and can you visually see them or anything..+1 How to do a FW dip: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/freshwater-dip.248898/

So i would like to do a dip but if i do and confirm that its (flukes) what should i do i have 5 fishYour Prazipro dosing schedule looks fine (actually overkill) but there are also prazi resistant flukes to consider.
A FW dip would tell us definitively whether or not flukes are 100% gone.

Ywg
2clowns
Gramma
Yasha gobie
Should i quarantine all five and go fallow... also what meds would i treat in a quarintine that kill fluke and their eggs?
Im 99.9999 percent sure its not ich. I bought two b. cardnials and a yasha gobie. No quarintine(lesson learned) the cardnials ate few days then stoped eating died week later. I should of dipped them then but did not(lesson learned) they showed no signs of anything but did have white stringy poop. So i thought maybe internal parisite or irodio virus(spelled wrong). So about a week after the cardnials died my gramma stopped eating and was hiding breathing very heavy so i started dosing prazipro.. i dosed 3 to four times over two weeks with water changes and carbon before each dose. The gramma recovered so i thought all was well and now it brings me to this clownfish situation.. so if i fw dip and confirm or not confirm flukes what would be the action you would take after the dip. Sorry for long post i just thought you should know all info also i appreciate all your work on the website you and humblefish do thanksOnly other option I know for treating prazi resistant flukes is formalin: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/formalin.290925/
