Please help me identify what that is !

Hello ! So my tank is Running since about 2 months and everything is fine with the parameters . I got 2 clownfish and some cuc and corals . 2 days ago I got a new chalice with like „white stuff“ on the plug . Today I went and look around and found some „white stuff“ on the rock too . I’m a bit worried because I don’t know what it is so please Someone can tell me if it’s ok or bad ? All my corals got dipped before going into the tank !

The pic on the rocks kinda looks like bubble algae after I zoomed into it. Does it look like bubble formations?

thanks for you answer ! No it’s not really bubbly ist more like „crust“

It’s probably coraline algae then. If that’s the case, it’s a good thing. Most reefers want it in the purple color but it also can be white.

I have white all over my back wall. It looks crusty And white. Look it up. You can buy purple Coraline algae bacteria in a bottle online. I’m sending you a pic of the product.

Looks like the stuff on the plug is dead coralline. At least it certainly looks calciferous.

The picture on the rock is hard to tell. Can you remove the blue from the lights and take another pic?

no just Turbo snails hermit crabs a sandbed seastar and 2 clownfish
