Please help me identify.

I'm not sure what this is as I am new to fish tanks in general as well as this forum. I have something dark purple growing underneath one of my live rocks, could you please help identify it and also let me know if it is good or bad? Any input would be appreciated and thank you in advance!

I'm on a small phone but it looks like coralline growing on something which is good.

I got this tank recently off of Craigslist, it had a Narrow-Lined Puffer, a Picasso Trigger, and a Thin-lined Hermit Crab in it.

I'm going to say it was purple adhesive used to try and hold something down at one point.

Coralline grows off of things in that fashion.

It's a 75 gallon. I just bought a 180 gallon about an hour ago.
