Hi Guys

Please help me identify this 'disease'.

Background: 1 previous post about fish dying off within 3 days of adding them. Upgraded filter.

Current: Added 2 fish after upgrade (Chromis and Domino). Both fish survived 3 days. Chromis showed small white...not spot...on forehead...thought it might be a nip from my CBS after 2 days.

Was like this for 7 more days. Suddenly this morning...this 'white spot', looks like a 'BEEEG PROBLEM'!

Please help...

@saltyhog thanks for the shout-out. What are the implications for other fish or future fish like clowns and or basslets?

With only unusual exceptions, the disease only affects chromis/damsels(clowns included) but there is no way to rid a tank of it once its there. It does not require a fish host to survive so going fallow does not help. I would not introduce any other chromis or damsels to that tank. API General Cure could be used to treat any fish already affected.
